Went in a group of three ladies. 2 had classic pasta dishes that were delicious. I had a chicken picatta that had a few d good bites but was drowned in so much oil (1/2 inch deep in the bowl with chicken floating in it) that I couldnt eat it. Also ordered a few meals to take home for my guy. One was the Sicilian steak which is actually mixed meats pressed together like a cutlet and had a strange smell and aftertaste. We each had one bite and couldnt take another. The second was a meat ravioli. He said the sauce was pretty good but the meat mixture inside was overwhelmingly sausage flavor and still quite cold/frozen. Both "to go" meals were also supposed to come with a side salad or soup and that did not get included in the bag. This is so disappointing to post because I would love to support local institutions like this. Unfortunately, aside from the meatless pastas, every step in the 3 protein-forward meals lacked in both execution and flavor. The atmosphere was nice and casual/friendly. But having spent 75.00 and only getting a few edible bites across 3 meals it unfortunately wouldn't be worth trying again.

Have eaten here several times and have had a variety of food. From salad to bruschetta, pizza to Manicotti. It is all delicious and good portions. Many dessert and drink choices, however I have not had the opportunity to try. A lot of food for good price. Cute dining room and patio area. Always a good time and good food.

This is such a great authentic hometown Italian spot! The food was excellent especially the chicken marsala and lemon chicken. The drinks were great and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend! The food was so good. I forgot to take pictures of it.

Didn't know what I was missing! Ordered carry out today, Kudos to Abby, who took my phone order. She was very friendly and attentive on the phone and when I arrived. I mentioned that it was my first visit and she went out of her way to give me information about the restaurant and menu items. I appreciated her exceptional customer service. She was right, the food was amazing! We got a 16 inch pizza with double pepperoni, an order of their veal parm, a tirimisu and a canoli. This was some of the best Italian food I've had, and I've been to Italy a few times! Everything was fresh, well prepared and simply delicious. (You never know what you'll end up with when it comes to carry out.) We were 100% happy with our Salvatore experience and ate entirely too much! Ha! Well done Abby.(and the chef) We will definitely be back soon! Highly Recommend Salvatore's!

We are from out of town and were looking for a nice Italian restaurant. Salvatore's was where we ended up. The building is quite old and quaint. The server was good enough but the food was average. My wife got chicken piccata and I got the meat ball sandwich. She really enjoyed her meal but I think the bun could have been heartier for my sub. The same bun was used for the garlic bread. We loved the restaurant's rich history.
